Chelsea's taking art classes, here's what she is learning...

A Parrott Chelsea's drawings are the darker ones, her teachers the lighter side.

Learning perspectives & parts of the face.

Learning about our skeletons & how to draw the body.

We went and saw it!  To know what we thought of it...

...ask us!

Chelsea did a piano solo and she did GREAT!  She got up and said, “I would like to play, Joseph Smith’s First Prayer”, then she played her piece!  Jamie sat next to her.  She did really good, didn’t make a mistake.  Afterwards, she stood up, did a bow (a girly one) and then went and sat down with a huge grin on her face and standing really straight, full of confidence.  Everyone was touched!  Jane Davis and Wendy Bohman, both said that they cried when she played, they were really moved!

Chelsea kept telling me, "I love the stage!"  She really did, she wasn't nervous at all, but couldn't wait to get out on the stage and perform!

Chelsea did great with the pois!  She was doing them with black lights and then slowly the lights came on until you could see her.  It was really neat, you could see the pois, strings, head band and the front of her costume glowing, so cool.  When I took the photo, of course, the flash took away the effect!  This is the best I could do without the flash and a ton of movement, but it gives you an idea of what it was like!  Below with flash.
